Continuous Water Supply & Water Tanker Support for Major London Roadworks

 

AquaDeliver was appointed to provide a reliable construction water supply during a high profile A road closure in central London. This challenging project for a high profile client required tight scheduling and uninterrupted 24 hour supply to support two Hydrodemolition crews working at oppoist ends of the closure.

AquaDeliver deployed two fully roadgoing tanker units, positioned at independent supply points. Each tanker fed its designated hydrodemolition pump at a steady 50 LPM. A high frequency top-up strategy was used throughout the operation. Rigid tankers replenished the static units from a nearby Thames Water hydrant, rotating continuously to maintain uninterrupted supply across both work fronts.

All tankers used on the project featured:

– Scania Tier 5 engines for lowemission urban operation
– FORS Silver accreditation and full DVS compliance
– Chapter 8 compliant lighting and markings
– Hydraulic PTO pumps with highoutput petrol pumps available when required

 The results:
– Continuous 50 LPM supply to both hydrodemolition crews
– Zero downtime despite splitsite complexity
– Safe, compliant tanker movements in restricted access areas
– Proven capability to scale water delivery for multipoint operations
